Welcome to Moving Qi, a small but perfectly grounded TCM practice based in London. Moving Qi’s philosophy is to combine the powers of Acupuncture, Tuina, Taiji (Tai Chi) and Qigong to promote, develop and maintain health, well-being and happiness.

Yang Sheng is health cultivation or nourishing life, a key component of Chinese medicine. An awareness of qi (vital or functional energy) is innate to most Chinese people and only now with the dissemination of the martial and medical arts are people in the west starting to feel and understand the effects.

Moving Qi's mission is to:
  • provide the highest quality care in Traditional Chinese Medicine  (governed by the codes of professional conduct, ethics and safe practice of the British Acupuncture Council)
  • introduce clients to a wealth of resources in the Chinese Medical Toolkit
  • inspire people to become actively involved in developing their qi in order to achieve an enhanced quality of life.

The sages did not treat those who were already ill but those who were not yet ill. They did not try to put in order what was already in disorder but tried to prevent disorder from arising in the first place
